Today we would like to introduce our latest Pro-File runner’s product…. HRP Pro Plates with round bar factory carbide runners.

After several years of customers asking for runners that steer better, steer easy and are less expensive, we decided to develop a new product that combine our exclusive HRP Pro-File Runner Fin Plates and join them with 7/16” or 1/2" round bar OEM factory runners that come on the machines. Factory OEM runners are the easiest to steer and are the least expensive, that’s why the  machines come with them. After many testing miles we are ready to release our Pro Plates for Skidoo and Polaris skis.

This combination maintains easy steering of the factory runners on hard pack. Adding Pro Plates improve steering in loose snow by pushing the runner about 1/4” deeper in the snow. Another major benefit is the Pro Plates protect the skis from wearing out when the conditions are bad and skis are riding in the dirt. This combination allows riders to buy the least expensive, around $100 or less runners on the market and still have similar performance to expensive aftermarket high performance runners.

Pro Plates are designed to fit OEM Ski Doo or Polaris skis and runners with 5/16” or 8mm studs. When installing Pro Plates be sure the studs are long enough to come through the nylock nuts after tightened. Removing the washers and adding blue Loctite on used nuts is a good idea.

We have not tested any 5/8” depth aftermarket runners with the Pro Plates but I will caution you that they will be very aggressive steering and we don’t recommend them. If you want to try runners with 3/8” studs you may need to fit the plates at the stud welds so the plates sit flat to the runner.

Skidoo Pro Plates fit All Pilot and Deep Snow skis from 2005 to 2026 with angled studs.

Skidoo Runners we suggest 860202180 = 4” carbide or 860201220 = 7” carbide

Polaris Pro Plates fit Pro Steer and Gripper skis 2012 to 2026.

Polaris Runners, we suggest 2879025 = 4” carbide or 2879026 = 6” or 2879027 = 8” for Pro Steer

2875723 = 3” carbide or 2877880 = 6” or 28777881 = 8” for Gripper skis
